50 reunion

To Rochellean64 Classmates:

Charles Dickens said it best:

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness...

It was New Rochelle High School in the 60’s. It was our time, and it is now our time again to renew and even re-live some of those incredible moments.

Join us as we re-discover old friends, re-visit a time that was so special to our personal growth, re-capture some of the aura that is such a part of ourselves. Whether it was NRHS-Iona Turkey Day Football, the senior prom, those special teachers that made it worthwhile, or our first love...it was a unique time.

Come to our 50th reunion of the Class of 1964 and share in the unique experience that was us. Mark the weekend of September 19-20, 2014 and join us as we go back to those incredible days. After all, don’t you wonder whatever happened to…?

Styx sang it best:

Our memories of yesterday will last a lifetime
We'll take the best, forget the rest
And someday we'll find
These are the best of times
These are the best of times

Let’s get together and make this a special party!

New Rochelle Fund for Educational Excellence

Your Reunion Committee selected the New Rochelle Fund for Educational Excellence as sole recipient of our reunion funds. We were extremely impressed with their "what-can-we-do-for-you" attitude. We largely left the planning for the High School tour to them and those who attended will agree it was an excellent experience that combined the high school's past, present and future (see photos in our Reunion photo albums). They also provided copies of their elementary school poetry project, "Poetry Out Loud," placed on each table at our Reunion dinner.

Many classmates have also made individual donations. Please go to www.nredfund.org to learn more about the people and projects of this wonderful organization and to make a donation.
